The Agape Fellowship of AA is using Venmo as it's method for collecting donations. The following directions are from the Venmo website. Once you have downloaded the application to your smartphone, and setup your payment account, please "Search People" and search for @agape-group.
NOTE: Do NOT choose to add @agape-group as a "Friend." If you do, others in your circle of friends may be able to see that you are a member (anonymity concern).
After choosing @agape-group, you will see a blue circle on the page. Click to take you to the page to input the amount you wish to donate, then click "Pay."
If you have questions, go to the Venmo site, or, ask a friend for help.
Please note that there is no Venmo app for MAC or Windows. It is only for use on a mobile platform such as iOS and Android.
Follow the instructions below to sign up for Venmo:
2. Open the Venmo app
3. Choose your sign up method and create a secure password (between 8 and 32 characters long).
4. Verify your phone number and email address
5. Add and verify your bank account
You can also sign up for Venmo from your computer here.
Venmo is only available in the United States and only compatible with U.S. based bank accounts and phone numbers. You must also be able to send and receive SMS/text messages from short codes.
